8. International Shipment Coverage Restrictions
Deliveri Insurance provides coverage for international shipments subject to the following conditions and limitations regarding declared and insured values:
A. Declared Value Must Match Invoiced Value
The declared value of any item shipped internationally must exactly match the actual invoiced amount of the goods. Any shipment with a declared value that exceeds or is less than the invoiced amount will be deemed ineligible for coverage under this policy. Deliveri reserves the right to reject any insurance claim where the declared value does not align with the commercially documented sale or invoice value.
B. Insured Value Must Align with Declared Value
The insured value stated at the time of shipment must match the declared value submitted for customs or transport purposes. Any discrepancies between the declared value and the insured value may result in denial of coverage. Deliveri may, at its sole discretion, reject insurance claims where such inconsistencies are identified.
C. Right to Deny Claims for Misrepresentation
Any misrepresentation, overstatement, or discrepancy in declared or insured values—intentional or otherwise—shall constitute a material breach of this insurance agreement. Deliveri reserves the exclusive right to deny claims, void coverage, or limit liability in such cases.
D. Compliance with International Shipping Regulations
Customers are responsible for complying with all applicable international trade, customs, and import/export regulations. Deliveri shall not be held liable for claims arising from seizures, delays, or losses resulting from inaccurate or non-compliant declarations.
